whether they will be exported or not is another question. for now, only cheapest assembled in india iphones are sold outside of india. indians is the nation which is hardwired to not give a **ck. therefore, there can be quality control issues. currently almost all smartphones sold in india is made in india as well. they are not sold anywhere else though.
BBK is probably the only who took the issue seriously so they build their own factory at noida

These countries don't have a minimum wage system and companies like Apple exploit this. I think the 'insane working hours' are the real problem. Thankfully enough, India has laws against that.

Seriously messed up attitudes round here with the other comments too, bashing all Chinese products and people while praising their Chinese iPhones being superior because its made by an American company, and praising new Asian communities being used for slave labour, no one see the problem here?
Disgusting really and completely disrespectful. Clear your house of all the Chinese and Asian made products (so everything), don't go to hospitals to use the Chinese made medical devices to keep you alive and make you better, stop buying apple and Google products that are made in China, make a group for yourselves and be racist there, thanks.

I would like to suggest apple please do not make any phone in India, one of the worsted black market in India. Every single salesman is currept in all mobile phone company. Back door market business in all mobile company. Company profit will go from back door. Stopped making any phone in India.
