Nokia is doing the right thing to capture the smartphone market. ALl it needs now is to have a better development rate than Samsung. Samsung has already launched S4 with much better specs than s3 and even 920. Nokia must ensure that it keeps coming out with better products (like 920 over S3) than samsung to slowly but surely eat into its market share. In future I dont think other competitors will be able to keep pace with these two.

Yes, they will end the support for windows phone 8.0. They will release windows phone 8.1 and keep that up to date. So there are no worries on that part.

Hope to have this phone. Happy to have 920 instead of Samsung ATIV or HTC 8X. Nokia is such a excellent company in terms of supporting client.
Having apps in my phone is important, and I have all the apps I need in my 920. Dont need 700k or something apps where many of them are just copies or dangerous ones.
And happy that my camera is doing things that other phone cant do.

Anonymous, 19 Mar 2013For your info, DSLR sensors are 2 times thicker than lumia 920dude may b u dunno anythng bout 808pv....its a entry level slr imho....neways m a bigfan of nokia,s imaging technology, being an avid android lover i m delighted vid nokia,s innovation.....hope its nt a fake stuff frm them. Like most f the companies claim vid a dud. But nokia has special place in my heart frm the n8 days....

Nokia is the best in mobile camera. Pureview 808, Nokia N8, Lumia 920, and the coming Nokia Pureview EOS.

microsoft did announce that it will support security for wp 8 till 2014, BUT another update to next platform windows phone are available for all wp8 devices.
that means after the upgrade, user get another 18 months..
