Anonymous, 21 Jan 2023"Cries in Canada".
We pay $95 for 50 GB per month. That's still just half of what Indians used to pay for data, an even slower 3G data, almost a decade ago
It used to be heavily, heavily overpriced in telecom industry. Calls and even text messages were extra expense. Carriers would charge for just anything
But thanks to Jio, prices went down quickly. Carriers today can't overprice their plans as much as they did before. Jio has a place in heaven 🕊️

Anonymous, 21 Jan 2023"Cries in Canada". We pay $95 for 50 GB per month.Your nation's geo-location is complex(was built on barmuda T i.e nearby U agree!), besides difficult to provide STEALTH protection. In India One man runs the show. just 1.

data is priced less in India when compared to other countries. One can have unlimited calls and 2GB data per day for an entire year for $50 and sometimes the carrier even gives more on top of that so in all about 750 GB data or more, for a year
On on top of that there's a ton of freebies, like music and movies subscriptions on various apps etc. And then, there is even more unlimited free data after midnight till 5 am 🎉 all thanks to Jio, for revolutionising mobile internet, because data used to be very expensive before

2.5GB per day equals 75GB per month. Here in my country Malaysia, that kind of data quota is only seen on postpaid plans, not prepaid plans. Almost all telco companies here offer unlimited data quota for prepaid plans at around €7.55/INR661 to €12/INR1,040, albeit at a capped speed of 3Mbps or 6Mbps.

In Moldova I pay about 11 Euro for 50 GB data, 200 minutes and 200 SMS and unlimited net at home (100 Mbps). Although there are not many minutes included, I don't talk that much on the phone.

People here are so fascinated by these cheap rates.
Reality is that these are unsustainable and the only reason for them to exist is to provide a medium for spreading propaganda.
