I has and old iPhone 5s. On the backside of that iPhone 5s it is clearly printed that “ Designed by Apple in California, Assembled in China “. China also assembles iPhone not made 😒

[deleted post]Correction: Vocational institute trained technicians because Btech graduates design and engineer iphone and half of them migrate to other countries.
Tho both are skilled in their field but Btech graduates are just on different leagues.

Btw I'm just having my doubts over it. Not saying that for sure it will have defects, but it may. The nothing phone for example, early units had issues
Poor quality assembly can very easily lead to defects. One mistake and the phone is messed up
