I don't understand why people thinks that they need special type of “Skill” to assemble a product, they already have component suppliers from many companies, like tsmc, Corning, Samsung display etc. , those are just assembly units that will not affect any quality of products at all.

It doesn't matter even if they move 100% production there, consumers buy Apple because it is an American brand that's it, other than that labour cost a lot less there if they make in India but I don't think they will reduce its product prices even inside India.

As long as they target 0% production share in China, it’s good

As long as Apple does not bring the prices of its products to a reasonable level in India, even if it shifts 100% production, there is no point.

Anton-, 23 Jan 2023This is something that Apple criticizes, since they want to... moreThen tell that your gov and you may end up hungry. It's natural in business and that countries do profit from their investments as well. It's mutual. That's the way world works, not so radically, unless it's necessary. It's harmful for all.

[deleted post]Why are you assuming that? You think Chinese factories can't screw up the same?

I am already using India made iPhone 13 and built quality is really nice.

This is something that Apple criticizes, since they want to give themselves an air of status, why is it not manufactured in their country of origin? They give the air of an ecological and primitive product, but assembled in other countries by cheap labor!
