Next year's Galaxy S24 series could have exclusive Snapdragon 8 chipsets as well

24 January 2023
The S23 generation is coming with special "Snapdragon for Galaxy" chipsets and Samsung will allegedly keep using such chips until its in-house chip is ready.

But aren't leaks and speculations (that are true most of the time considering Samsung's devices) a way of indirectly advertising and announcing your products? Surely a company this serious would be able to hide that kind of information, if they wanted to.

I have not seen Samsung talk about and advertise the S24 series in any way shape or form. This is a leaker/speculator talking about the series, not Samsung.

Anonymous, 24 Jan 2023No Exynos, no buy.You do realize that Exynos chipsets have worse performance and increased thermal throttling compared to the Snapdragon counterparts, as well as having a much worse ISP.

Anonymous, 24 Jan 2023No Exynos, no buy.why at all would you want an inferior chipset? Sorry to burst your bubble, but you "no ___ no buy" people are absolutely obnoxious, and you do nothing to hurt a company's sales

Imagine just releasing a new device and before it's even released you [Samsung] talk about and advertise it's replacement for next year, openly, with no shame... Ridiculous

I thought the chip in the Galaxy will be built on the inferior Samsung node. Then why is it called „AC“ when in the past, those were refinements of the existing chip (like SD 801 being AC to SD 800)
