Corning confirms that the Galaxy S23 series will pioneer Gorilla Glass Victus 2

Victus 2 was announced at the end of November and features increased drop resistance, especially for rough surfaces like concrete.

It ha... moreGood and lucky for you, although if you trade or sell phones on after spending £1000 years n not me you would operate differently, I sell my phone ever year to fund the next model so to retains its full value it needs to not show any signs at all , I can usually recoup around £600 for a like new phone with 1 year mint condition so it’s a no brainier to use a case and screen protector for me

                    If i put a 5D 9H screen protector on a phone it will be cheaper way than having GG Victus 2.

                      There is like no difference between Gorilla Glass 5, Gorilla Glass 6, Gorilla Glass Victus.

                      The thickness + shape of the glass and weight of phone are much more important

                        I guess just marketing numbers as Victus 2,Victus 3...Victus 100.Why not a sapphire glass if Samsung charging you a lot of money for the phones!

                          Its nice to have some update on screen glass but... most of people use cases and most of people use screen protection anyway. Thats why I never bother about from what phone back is made of... They put all that fancy glass on the back but we all put cover on it anyway.

                          Also one thing.... how about oems will put that god damn half mm lip around front of the phone and that tad bigger gasket because that half mm WILL protect your screen better than any gorilla glass and it will not affect look at all....

                            Drop resistance is good and all but what about scratch resistance? I already managed to scratch my S22 plus and i'm not even sure how

                              I have xz1C without protectoe or case for years and its still in mint condition.

                                I still somehow see cracked glass on those phones so i would just rather avoid dropping them.

                                  Does anyone believe in this nonsense? Everyone knows that the phone ends up in a case and with a plastic or gel protector! Because if you leave it without protection, even looking at it badly, those crystals will be scratched

                                    I'm getting bored of this ISO phone. Phone with less publicity are more interesting.
