And GS4 with E5 will in fact have LTE. And through software it can only get massively better.

For those that have poor landlines, 3G (soon to be 4G) is our only option.

i would definitely much rather get the exynos 5 octa, not because it has better performance, but because it doesn't have 4g. 4g is nothing but a waste of batteries in my opinion. why would i ever need faster data transfers than i get with turbo 3g in a mobile device? it's not like i use my cell phone to download movies. unfortunately i live in sweden and of course 4g is all the rage here. -_-

As an experienced geek, I would prefer S4 instead of E5 because of the following reasons:
1. S4 is already available in some devices and the usability has been tested and approved by users as well as devoloppers and all issues have been solved
2. Even with only 4 cores running simulteanously in E5 the remaining 4 will still consuming a certain level of RAM and battery.
3. Compatibility issues with some apps for e.g Galaxy S3 with early vesions of Asphalt 7 wasn't perfect
4. LTE is a must for a premium handset costing more than $500 in 2013, why spending an arm and a leg if you won't even get the latest internet speed?
5. Devoloppers will surely release custom roms for S4 earlier than E5 because they are already working on S4.
Be wise guys, be wise ! 4 additional cores will not make a better deal for your needs if its full of bugs

Call me SAR, 21 Mar 2013Im not settling for the 4 core snapdragon when for the same... moreits not 8 core. Only 4 core will function @ a time.
With 8 core samsung was struggling to meet power targets and that is the reason why this confgn in Exynos5

Why the hell do you need 4G really, i don't give a flyingf*** about 4G, give me that exynos5 any day of the week over faster internet speeds (where available) lol, if you commute on the tube every day like me and have wifi everywhere like me then why the hell do you need 4G, for when your out and about?? What like in the park? Who the hell gets 4G in the park, theres only EE who do 4G in britain and thats crap at best.

Lets say LTE wasn't there, still if the octa-core can outdo the snapdragon 600 in every possible way by a fair margin then there is no reason to have the snapdragon 600 chip-set.. Why skimp on performance hardware specially on a flagship device. 3G, 3.5G and LTE can be taken up separately because the octa-core processor can handle everything.

Im not settling for the 4 core snapdragon when for the same price i can get 8 cores. after 3 straight years with Samsung my money is going elsewhere this year. companies have to understand we are not 2nd class customers and they cant treat us as that !

Apparently you havent used a LTE device... my LTE phone is faster than my wifi. thats funny, but true. and Samsung Didnt "Advertise" the octa cores... that was all rumored. Samsung only then said that they will have 2 versions. But they didnt actually Advertised it.

I think Samsung don't know yet which will perform better ... so they made this fight between their own S4 in order to find what will be best for (Samsung S5 + Key Lime Pie) .. so I will not buy either of S4 until things get clearer
