No octa-core = NO buy phone sammy, big mistake! making 2 models is a terrible idea, why all the advertisment on the octa core? total BS. LTE isnt even necessary , most people use WIFI and have no need for LTE, and even if they do it never unlimited. Someone in sammy made a big mistake, people are not stupid to throw their money away. oh and both phones without a radio? lol

EE (Everything Everywhere) price plans are way too exspensive and do not (currently) offer unlimited internet packeages, so having an LTE phone is pretty pointless as you will just use up your data allowance faster...
....So if Samsung don't bring out the Exynos handset in the UK I won't be buying the S4.

The UK will be receiving both the Snapdragon and the Exynos 5 processors. I'm sure GSM Arena will look into this further and correct this article if necessary.
I will only get the S4 if it comes with Octa Core. Although the benchmarks of the Snapdragon 600 clocked at 1.9GHz is faster than that of the HTC ONE clocked at 1.7GHz, I will now consider the HTC ONE purely because its a better phone, and the bench,arks are not completely blown out of the water.

Octa-core for sure. Faster download speeds mean nothing on a phone, especially when there's a wifi source in most locations.

A question for you:
How come Exynos version doesn’t support LTE?
The phone was supposed to be LTE international, either LTE built-in (SnapDragon) or a separate chip (Exynos). Now it turns out that LTE will only be present in the SnapDragons? WTF?

Hopefully the UK will get the beefy version as well. Thanks to the ridiculous premiums on LTE in the UK (and currently limited coverage) I'd happily swap the LTE for the, hopefully superior, Exynos chipset.
Why can't Samsung have one chipset that also supports LTE? Why bother with all the fancy diagrams showing chipset evolution, and pictures of supposedly amazing benchmarks if a very large number of users won't get to enjoy the said experience?
I refused to upgrade my iphone 4s to the iphone 5 due to Apple's limited new features and upgrades to the new handset. If Samsung are going to do the same (and the unique Exynos chi[set is one of the key selling points) then I'd rather get the more sensibly priced Nexus 4 and wait to see if Apple have got their asses in gear with the iphone 5s.

Well, if its gonna be like S3, Samsung will lunch a Exynos model with LTE Support soon! Or the I9505 is the LTE model of Exynos and I9500 is the international model

Arm big.little cpu can be unlocked by phone manufacturer to use all 8 cores, but it would also require asymmetric multi processing os. Currently only qnx neutrino based bb10 and tablet os support amp. Octa core bb10 would be a killer phone, I would buy it without hesitation.

dont know y people r messing around wid the news n calling snapdragon chip inferior to exynos whose benchmarks are not known yet... guys come to reality... this snapdragon chip on S4 had outperformed every other flagship phone so performance is not a problem for u... exynos has better performance on battery efficiency so it will slightly last longer than ur snapdragon version so just chill out... both versions are awesome n none is more superior than other...

I would love to try the Octa Cores as there is no LTE in Pakistan. Somebody told me that Samsung are including a wrist band as an out of the box accessory. Is that true?

I Live in Canada and there are a few cities that have LTE (Just Cities). where I live is not one of them. I have stuck with the Galaxy series from the I9000 to the I9300.
I know both will be great but the extra speed is not that important to me for surfing. I find HSPA fast enough. downloading large files ok maybe BUT!
most carriers here have data limits. So it would eat up your data fast and there's plenty of Wi-Fi hotspots around. Ill vote for the Octa-core! I9500 PLEASE!! I'm just wondering about the Octas dependability. anyone find anything on it? heard there were heat issues.
