Anonymous, 28 Jan 2023Using SD cards in 2023 is the same as using CD/DVD in 2013.... moreActually while the cd and DVD thing is not as common now is by far not erased. Only typing simple minded idiots of the new generation think that.
As for headphones and audio cords they are still heavy in use.
You being a happy little slave and believing that companies removing things is for a or benefit is what makes them happy and their pricing scams boosting their profits

Anonymous, 28 Jan 2023Using SD cards in 2023 is the same as using CD/DVD in 2013.... moreHow can someone be so wrong with just a few words. "No one does it any more"? Please don't speak for everyone as if you were the voice of reason here, you reading several people complaining about the lack of memory slot should be evidence enough that your statement is disingenuous and incorrect.
These microSD cards you loathe so much can reach up to 2TB of storage (and more in the future), if you can't see the convenience of buying new phones and being able to migrate all your data with these huge storage options, then I don't know what to tell you.
Also that's one very small sample rate you got over there when complaining about 3.5mm jack, enough with this protagonist-complex where you think your opinion is the only one that matters. Go charge your wireless ones and buy more in a couple of years while I continue to use my wired ones for decades.

Headphone jack is also not needed. Haven't used mine in 3 years. It just collects dust. It's about time they got rid of this legacy port.

Samsung user, 27 Jan 2023At this point, it doesnt matter for you anyway. Chinese tro... moreWell maybe you're right... That why my last 2 samsung phones were Galaxy S8 & Note FAN EDITION !
And both phones were unable to function as phone, Note dead completely and S8, Samsung messed up the software updates & signal reception become weeker and they never bother to fix it.
Yes im currently happy with chinese flagship phone that I use to write this comment right now.
And since youre samsung user, I admit that Samsung have secure android software compared to most of other oem. Knox is pretty good for security.
SO, what is YOUR POINT ABOUT I "doesnt care about good/bad of non chinese" ????!! I HAD ENOUGH WITH SAMSUNG .. that it.. lastly fyi, both of those using EXYNOS that come out from samsung own foundry.. I also own S5 that use SD 801 and still functional.

Just because it's MIGHT better in Benchmark doesn't mean people like mobile gamer will considered S23 over some ROG phones.

Anonymous, 27 Jan 2023Please don't waste your time reading the same comments... moreThis gonna be a complain for each years and no, we won't gonna stop complain about how they ditch it to takes more profit from higher base storage and their Galaxy buds selling. Connect it to flash drive? Nahh too much things to do like connect to a cable to your flash drive just for transfer your files, different compared to SD card which is more reliable. Cloud drive? Well good luck uploading/downloading your file in a country with bad internet connection. Wireless buds? As someone who almost listening to music everytime, then nahh, I don't want to charge my buds everytime it's low on battery. I'm also a careless person so dropping small buds would be easier to risk losing. And in some cases, with the same sound quality, wired earphones can provide a cheaper price, so no I don't want to pay extra for the wireless one just because my phone doesn't support 3.5mm jack.

GregLu, 27 Jan 2023The jack take a lot of space, I could undertand it. But com... moreIt's just lazy design and marketing mumbojumbo Look at Asus Zenfone 9 heaphone jack and big battery so no excises to leave it out from the desing. Same goes for other companies that thin an 2mox camera is more important than lets say the 3.5 jack. good example is 1+ where they removed the alert slider that's been a symbol of their phones since day one....anyhow they said it took this and that much of important space and still slapped an 2mpx nonsense macro camera in there and that wasn't enough the module was housed in a giant frame the size the main camera had. and they will say users need it till end of days.

Anonymous, 27 Jan 2023Please don't waste your time reading the same comments... moreYou ain't wrong but then again your wrong. Remove the filters from your eye site to see why the SD is great to have. Removing "obsolete" tech is just apples and sammys way to increase theis sales nad extremely polished disinformation skills to make customer want to leave the functioning secure stuff behind.
And what aboute the buds....even the most expensive TWS earphones can damage your ears just as much as dirt cheap ones.

"The quest for epic mobile gaming is over". Been over since other manufacturers released their own SD 8 Gen 2 powered phones and Apple's own A16. As usual scamsung falls behind. Good thing people are still scammed cause their sales aren't.

DEMON, 27 Jan 2023First off cost of the product is premium & people want ... morenot just the fact that bluetooth has connection issues but anything and everything wireless has batteries and they WILL degrade. So basically planned obsolescence. The times of having a 20 year old or 10 year old piece of hardware still functioning perfectly fine are gone. Everything has to be replaced in 2-3 years now because the companies make their products like that.

Probably an Exynos in a Snapdragon suit 😱. Qualcomm getting royalties for using their name. You gotta love capitalism 👏
