Yup its true in few cases...... but its not only in Xperia Z.... this problem first was faced in iphone 4s and then samsung note 1 and s3 etc........ its bcz they are fitting too much technology in one handset... and the phone cant bare it.....logically..... its happening in quad core processor phones usually..... and these phones heat up for no reason.... so thats something thats need to be fixed in all the newest and smartest phones......

I have a similar problem with the note 2. It will all of a sudden freeze and then reset.
Sometimes it wont happen for a few days and other days it will happen 4-5 days.
For anyone who doesn't believe me, check my posts over on the note 2 page...
That said, i have had the note 2 for 4-5 months and LOVE IT!!
ps i do wonder sometimes if it is the firmware.
pps, i didn't have a problem for the first 3-4 months... it has only been the last few weeks.

Oh, so much for a month old "premium" $900+ (for early buyers). The Xperia Z simply just looks good. That's about it.

My Xperia Z is only 2 weeks Old so I guessed I am not yet safe. But it's only one of 4 Xperia currently in our home. We have Xperia Z, U, Tipo and Mini. Nothing wrong with any of these, add the Xperia Pro I used for almost a year, never failed or hang or freeze. Whatever it is that it's wrong with Sony it is not hardware quality.

former Galaxy Note 2 owner here.. i had this kind of issue before with the note 2 after using it within a month.. maybe because of the software i really dont know then switch to xperia V and im really satisfied.. This kind of issues really depends on the phone in my opinion not all the phones of a specific manufacturer..

Anonymous, 21 Mar 2013Iphone 5 doesn't has sudden death issue Lol.actually yes it did on some devices, users where reporting that the iphone was shutting down with sometimes more then half battery, also there was a bug which forced the iphone to close upon opening the camera, also random reboots regarding the wifi issue that has been around since the iphone 4
All technology suffers from some form of bugs at some stage even if its just a few of them, this is no big deal really.
