They may have chosen pictures they like because they may not know what pictures are better or they may not care. For example, some people may think that oversharpened pictures are better because they look sharp. On the other hand, photography experts can't randomly choose pictures because they have their reputation to keep.

Quad Bayer sensors have some advantages but it's nowhere near what the marketing campaigns want you to believe.

There's barely any difference and none of those tests are ever very useful as they are based on fanboys and people with no photographic knowledge.
It's been a huge misconception for years ever since the pixel 2 had a little lead in hdr that somehow the pixels magically had better cameras than anything in existence.

Where ... more200MP in a phone is not even necessary as camera sensors with much lower resolution can take much better photos than it, considering the fact that it can capture far more light than it. lets be honest. the 200MP is entirely a sales gimmick to make consumers who don't know much about cameras think it has the best camera on the market. Sure, the 200MP camera can capture 8k, but so can a 33MP sensor.

the pixel 6a beat the s22 ultra in a blind camera comparison test with millions of participants. a phone that costed about a third of the price of the s22 ultra beat it using a 6 year old camera sensor. That is embarrassing for the s22 ultra

Where is the 200 MP sensor on an FF or APS-C camera? Where is the pixel binning for very low noise at night in a camera (except Sony a7S)? Where is the huge OLED display on the back of a camera? Where are the very powerful Snapdragon processor in a camera? When are the evil camera companies going to join the 21st century? Samsung is putting them all to shame! Great job, Samsung!
