Why don't you for example offer us prices from the same area. Make up your mind which are it is. You can't compare China prices with others when all countries have different taxes which impacts device price.

Samsung made in China? On a A22 5G from 2022? Dude... I don't know where to start. A22 5G is from 2021. A23 is from 2022. Next. About your Samsung made in China claim. Just write in your browser a simple question. Where are Samsung Galaxy phones being made?
Try it and you will find out that they don't make phones in China since 2019.

MATE 30 PRO, 02 Feb 2023What are the flaws of Huawei in your opinion? Good quest... moreI think (my personal opinion not a fact) that the biggest issue for Huawei is not letting the States have a backdoor to their 5G infrastructure which they start building around the globe. Where's the problem you may ask yourself. Well, how many allies China has? What about USA? Yeah.. so USA has way more allies and they (the States are the most powerful western politics country) want to protect that because China is not an ordinary country, it has totally opposite politics then the west. btw when did you last time saw person from China here? Wonder why? Because they don't have an easy access to this site or any outside their homeland. So naturally when Facebook, Meta, Google and basicly every western company is spying on us, that's not quite the same thing if Chinese could control information for the whole world.
Huawei mistake for me was their answer to the States. They told them they would never give private information even if their gouverment ask them. Now.. here cimes the problem. Who can say no to a CCP? Who? In China, private companies doesn't have quite the same meaning like on west. They could just let the States control those data but they didn't. Why? See.. that thing bothers me as for me there was no doubt Huawei mobile division was great but their mission with networking.. eh.. they could save it but they just kept their promise. Which is kinda ironic because in their own country they don't allow the use of western software at all.

So, if I said anything wrong in my comment feel free to correct me. I really want to hear other people opinions. I am always open to a healthy debate and sharing opinions with the community here.

They stopped manufacturing in China years ago. Actually, their phones are expensive because of this in China because, imported products have higher taxes in China than those made within China so I would never consider buying a Samsung flagship in China due to lack of price competitiveness with local brands. However, in Europe they are priced very similar to the Chinese brands for their flagships. I think it's only valid to compare prices within the same countries. American prices do not include sales tax but European prices do include VAT so 20% mist be added to US prices to compare like for like

In my country, the s23+ is the same price as the s22 ultra when it launched! F inflation! Samsung is going the Apple route of gimping the entry devices so we'll buy the most expensive one.

Good question, of course they have mistakes, and many: First they should have reached an agreement with the United States to find out what they have failed and thus be able to recover the resources they have lost. From there, since I am not a geopolitical strategist, Huawei is doing well to look for alternatives to be able to continue in the smartphone market, although it is having a hard time in the international sales section (not in China, where they more or less remain ). Competition is always good, and I understand that it will be if everyone competes equally. But if this is not the case, a solution will have to be found through dialogue and reaching agreements on both sides. And I wish it were so.

They had to do it since they moved to their Harmony and if they didn't do it a lot of people would just quit using Huawei. Harmony is essential for Huawei which can't be told about any Android maker. If you don't upgrade to next Android version nothing will happend, but that's not the case with Huawei's Harmony.
Actually we've been already witnessing exactly that. When sanction on Huawei started there was a lot of people talking shit about USA and they all said they will keep buying Huawei phones just in spite of what the States is doing, but it seems only those stayed on Huawei and all the rest are on some other brand. Why? Because most of people want simplicity of use. And they want Google services which aren't 100% working on Harmony.

No phone is perfect. So tell me, what are the flaws of Huawei in your opinion?

Huawei has complete and free disposal of the Android AOSP code, so it build its own system on top of it with the appropriate updates.

Harmony OS 3.0 is based in Android 12 AOSP.

Another very different thing is access to Google Services.
