I actually hoped, SAMSUNG would adapt the pricing strategy of GOOGLE...
But the pricing sheme now is super disappointing:
only the US market profits, but in EUR the same problem as with APPLE: inhibiting extra charges for no convincing reason (which inflation is not).
So showstopper for me at least, even more when put in perspective of the very incremental improvements the 23 lineup provides in the end.

To be honest in contry like bangladesh i found Mi 11 ultra with innitial price under 680 euros.
But shipping from bangladesh to europe would cost a lot. Its obvious you use most expensive available market just to prove opposite.
Last year the Xiaomi 12 Ultra were 900 country and region dependable cheaper price was exactly 878 somewhere on this site my records can be found. Also for Mi 11 ultr procing the price were bellow 700.
Rest is as yoi said EU and other regions are more expensive due to VAT but thats probbably only thing which will make price hike.
And just for example 12 ultra or pro for EU regions i can have from as low as 263 euros at mine store for used device.
Brand new with 2 years of warranty is 450 euros.

Last year the cheapest launch price for the Xiaomi 12 pro was €1049 with just 128gb of storage. The Xiaomi 13 ultra will definitely be at least €1300 but probably more if it comes to Europe. The regular Xiaomi 13 will be at least €900. The s23 ultra is €1,400 Comparing China prices with European prices isn't like for like. Xiaomi's flagship prices will be around 55—60% higher in Europe compared to China. That is always the case. Add 55% to Chinese prices and you won't be far off. Similar for Motorola. Oneplus tends to have a slightly lower markup on Chinese prices but still going to be in the region of 40-50%. Remember you have to add around 20% for VAT alone

I thought Huawei doesn't have Android since late 2019 with P30 series being the last one coming with Android. Those other updates can't be compared with let's say Samsung updating policy since Huawei has their Harmony and they want to push it for the majority of their phones. Even P Smart from 2018 got the latest Harmony 3.0. i know for you as a hard core Huawei fan that means a lot, but Huawei is basicly the only brand coming with Harmony OS. If Huawei didn't push it for much older phones they would start loosing their user base.
Hope you understand what am I saying. Huawei doesn't have a 4 years of Android update since it doesn't support it any more. And it did update older devices because it had to do it. There is a LOT of people still using Huawei phone.
And btw... those are just phones dude... who fricking cares that much for phones? I know we are on phones site but Jesus.. some of you are acting like we're talking bad about your family. Hold your horses lol...

S23 ultra cost 1800 euros where 600 is 1/3 of price
OnePlus 11 will be half price maybe 800 bucks instead of 1600.
Mi 11 ultra had pricetag of 720 with 1 inch main camera sensor.
Mi 12 ultra had pricetag of 900 in certain regions.
Mi 13 Ultra will not cost more than 900 too depends on configuration.
It will be half price fo S23 ultra but it will be equally good maybe even better.
It wont come with UFS 4.0 like samsung but will have charger in the box at least 120W charging and a lot better cameras optimized by Leica.
Samsung can go nuts now. Even Huawei with Xmage doing way better photos.

Samsung is literally the only brand that DOESN'T manufacture its phone in China. The last remaining factory in China were closed in 2019.
So, No chinese grade quality for every Samsung phone 👍

These are really good price, but sadly there's no Exynos version available at the moment. If there were an S23 with an Exynos chip I'd pay even 5000eur for it.

Samsung routinely gives monthly patches to its S/Z Series, also all Samsung flagship phones get newest Android OS version in the same year of launching of new Android OS.
Life is simple man, if you think Samsung is expensive, you could buy cheaper alternative brands like Apple or random chinese brand.
