Even unsuported chinese phones can work after 4-5 years pretty easily.

Only thing that damages battery is big heat.
Phone with 240 charging will charge battery in 5-7 minutes.
Time when battery doesnt even heat up to get some damage when it will be fully charged. Compared to old convient slow garbage charging speeds which takes many hours to charge the battery and the temperature will be constant between 30-50 celsius or worse.

Fast charging basically makes battery endurance not fully needed. Do little top up charges once or twice a day (will take more time to cook yourself dinner) and you'll never be worried about your battery. Battery won't degrade that quick, there's about 3 separate chips (in the charger and phone) to manage voltage, heat, battery health so its not as much of a problem now (plus fast charging phones are usually dual cell batteries again to combat fast charging).

I'd rather have a battery that lasts 240 weeks without losing health than one with 240watt that will, maybe reduce to 80 percent under 2 years. Yes they do say that it'll do 1600 cycles but they haven't disclosed the speed they they test it at. Further disclosures needed from the company regarding their claims
