Question here is not about comparing top 5 steam GPU hardware to modern console but instead Number Gamers gaming on PC(any pc) is higher than number of gamers using PS, Xbox and Nintendo combined.

Sony should also release their exclusive games at s... more& I can bet you those who own PC just like me right now dont mainly use it for gaming but for Multipurpose use aka Browsing, Streaming, Editing, Printing, etc. work/daily stuff you do on your pc.
Consoles are mainly for Gaming only & the fact you dont have to bother tweaking it(buying parts, etc.) so games run optimized on it by developers themselves & not the users like on PC that have to tweak. Its a huge hassle since PCs like what I say is not only for gaming.

Sony might look greedy but they standby with their ethics and values. They always support their consumer.

Lmao, someone is lobbying hard in regulatory bodies against Microsoft. They never cared about consumers and never will. Everything in the world is already monopolized to the ground, you just don't realize it. Why didn't they stop Disney from buying everything they could? Sony is most likely behind this bs

Sony should also release their exclusive games at same time on PC (also optimized for pc). Because there are far more numbers of PC than PlayStation consoles.
Ideally games are for fun and should be available for everyone on all the major platform, so the user don't need to purchase different hardwares for different games. But Sony is so hypocrite that they are not showing their dark side.
Generally Playstation is more expensive than PC.
You can assemble PC for every budget and can play games by adjusting graphics to a lower level on a low end pc. Games can also be purchased from several online stores and sometimes even at discount rates especially during festivals.

According to the Steam Hardware Survey these are the top 5 most used GPU's:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
Probably, less than 10% of all gamers use a GPU performance above the current gen consoles. And building a PC in terms of performance higher than console performance tier will cost you more in terms of hardware. The 3060 is about as powerful as the PS5 and XSX is about as powerful as the 3060ti. Game development is expensive and you don't want to spend budget on features only a small percentage can play. You'd rather have more development time elsewhere than in graphics that less than a few % of your playerbase get to experience.
It's not the consoles that is limiting more advanced games, it's gamers overal not spending exorbitant amounts of money on hardware.

There is one console coming out every after 5-10 years so all games up to 10 years need to run on these consol. There for all games that make it to PC too will be on low quality cause of consoles with 10 years old technology and these consoles are anyways middle range hardware cause who will buy console for 1000+ euro ? They need to have it under 500 euro so masses can buy it so they cant make the console hardware on the same level as PC that has like 2000 euro graphics in them and flagship cpu of AMD or Intel that are 10 times better hardware then any console have

The only thing hurts gamers are the studios who dont pay there coders enough so they want to make the games good. Also modern mental disorder culture is hurting gamers cause of the content is forced on you and there is no option for you to turn it off.
Games get released in beta phase and then these games need years on patching the bugs and everything is also hurting gamers

The only thing I understood in this article that Sony might get hurt, but not gamers. How Hippocratic this outlook is... It's fine for one company to wall garden it's games, but not the other... Nonono.
