You should seriously start working in a phone/tech store. Then you would be able to talk from experience, instead of theories.

Want an even bigger irony? Samsung can actually put IP68, MIL-STD-810G, headphone jack, and removable battery for their XCover6 Pro and Tab Active4 Pro. The only catch? Samsung only limit them to Business and Enterprise customer.

To all of you fools who bragging for costly gimmick called water resistance please do understand that no phone company and phone manufacturer gives you a water damage warranty included in normal device warranty.
All phones with so called IP rating are tested standing still in clean unrefned water in other words conditions which the phone in normal use will never experience.
Since sour rains full of toxic particles which came to atmosphere from many factories, pollution, cars with petrol cumbustion etc, sea salt water, muds and swamps, soap liquid etc. and many else examples are tottaly different from what phone been tested.

And so as long as no company and manufacturer includes water damage warranty into regular warranty any customer which experience water damage with their device have to pay expensve repair in worse conditions device will die with all data permanently lost.

Lastly even waterproof case bought for example on alliexpress for 2 euros does lot beter job than costly gimmick called IP rating. Since even a 100 eur device without so called IP rating can sustain few rain drops with ease it really does not matter whether people will have or will no IPXX rating which from apart being very costly does not gives any device equal waterproofness to submarines.

So i really dont understand wha people bragging for costlybut in other words useless gimmicks. And i really dont believe that you all live in a rainforests where half of the year is dry and other half raining.
Or according to Guinness World Records, the place with the highest average annual rainfall is the village of Mawsynram in northeastern India, which receives nearly 12,000mm of rain per year (Cardiff, in comparison, receives just 1,150mm). So i dont believe you live all here either.

Olympus Oms, 08 Feb 2023Ip64? So still only water drops protected in 2023. Gj oppo.... moreMan niowdays every phone can withstand few rain drops and since no phone is submarine and no company will gives you water damage warranty included in regular waranty with your device it really does not matter whether phones have or not have said costly gimmick.
Waterproof case bought for 2 bucks on alliexpress does lot better job than even IP69K along with MIL-STD810G. Because for jsut 2 bucks my phone will be imune to any kind of liquid apart maybe a very strong acid.
And i can safely go even swin to sea and make some underwater shots where i couldnt do the same with IP69 rating phone without waterproof case.

So everybody who bragging for costly gimmicks like IP rating are just fools because as long as no company gives you water damage warranty you pay for something which will add zero extra value.
              End of story.

Persisted at eliminating 3.5mm jack and sd card slot, and make a false statement to claim that losing those can provide better seal to the phone. And yet, maximum they cam get is IP64 or IP46.
Meanwhile, LG phone having everything, consistently getting IP68. Phone from 2014 can even swap battery, got IP78 rating.
                  Lier company never stop lie.

BJRG, 09 Feb 2023You always use your phone underwater? I want to know more.I always do underwater video recording whenever me and my family spending time in the swimming pool, so the IP68 water resistance comes in handy. I don't do it at beaches because of the saltwater that can corrode the motherboard.

Anonymous, 09 Feb 2023Warranty covers damage by accidents, not intentional contac... morewarranties cover any issues the device may create by itself, or any defects the device might have escaped the factory with. it is extremely uncommon to find a device with a warranty that covers any accidents. why? because manufacturers want to make more money off of accident protection plans such as Samsung care+ and apple care, and even then they usually don't cover liquid damage

Does it have an ENCRYPTED BATTERY like their tablet? Seems like the expected path now that market is conditioned to accept sealed batteries.
