X5 is downgrade rebatch of X4 pro and X5 pro is upgrade of X4 pro but still consider downgrade from X3 pro.

It's downgrade, Poco F3 was the best of this brand, I still using it on custom ROM, android 13. MIUI is a crap.

X4 went backwards, x5 just about levels back to x3.
X3 available much cheaper than either 4 or 5.
X3pro about €150 euro on ebay UK.
Apart from even stupider pixel count from tiny little sensor and lens, x5 is as bad as X4.

anything below snapdragon 800 should not be called midrange. I had a realme5pro with sd712 since 5 years ago because there were no suitable midrange. Its either that spec was too low for a low range or too expensive for a higher one. Pretty hard to judge a midrange phone these days

I think everyone is waiting for F5 or maybe X5 GT... It will be the ultimate nuclear bomb in the midrange sphere. I'm sure Xiaomi is aware of it, let alone their fiercest competitors. It's impossible to compete with Xiaomi when it comes to flagship killers, everyone knows that. Things might change in the future when foldables become common, but for now, Xiaomi is the ruling king!

Realme 9 5g se (778g, with average camera) was available for Rs 14999 last year.
Samsung M52 (with 778g and above average camera) was available for 17999 last year.
I don't see any killer pricing that Poco is known for.
