This generation Xiaomi unveiled two X-series models - a Pro model that upgrades the X4 Pro formula and a vanilla model that cuts some corners and the price.

    I mean xiaomi makes the best hardware out of all the brands imo. But they should please vow to upgrade the software aspect. The poco x5 pro looks like the best midranger of 2023, but the only thing that is holding it back is its software. I'm not saying miui is bad, I'm just saying that they can win more customers if listen to their fan base and fix all the issues they encountered

      Both overpriced garbage. The prices listed here are from AliExpress not direct from Xiaomi. From Xiaomi they're €30 more. Also the removal of the micro SD slot on the Pro is unacceptable as are the crappy cameras. And as for the regular X5 the Snapdragon 695 and the even worse cameras are unacceptable.

      Just look at the number of fans on here. Only 101 for the X5 Pro and only 30 for the regular X5. Meanwhile the X3 Pro has over 1,000 fans

            Really considering the X5 Pro, too bad there's no card slot. If I have to choose, I'd choose card slot over 3.5mm jack though it would be perfect if both are available.

                  The X5 Pro is the first Xiaomi Poco phone with SD 778G+ chipset, so it's worth looking. However, the X5 is nothing more than a recycled X4 Pro with a downgraded main camera and GG3 glass. Xiaomi may as well just make a single X5 model in the first place.

                  If there's one thing I would definitely complain is Android 12 out of the box. That is a sleazy way for Xiaomi to say that they can give one or two OS update when in fact it was shipped with last year's Android version.

                    the poco x5 is literally more expensive and worse than the poco x4 pro. there's just no reason to buy it at any price point

                      Imx 890? Is it a typo?

                        X3 Pro with snapdragon 870 for 5g for around £250-£300 would be my perfect phone

                          Neither the X4 Pro or the X5 Pro use Sony Imx sensors. In fact, they both use ISOCELL HM2

                            I will wait for the D8200 or D9200 version
                            Or will get realme or iqoo instead
