Foldable phones have been on the market for some time now. When someone is willing to pay that much money, he should do some research about them before buying, thats common sense.

There is a reason why many people as still hesitant about foldable phones, one of them is durability and the other is how expensive it is to repair them, mostly their expensive screens.

thats great but Samsung should just create a sub-brand with only high end offerings, similar to what Hyundai did with Genesis. because majority of mainstream people doesn't recognize samsung as a high end brand, heck I even know a lot of people that doesn't know the S-series is the counterpart's to iPhone. they just thought it's "probably another samsung" until they experienced using it.

Its not Samsungs fault(at least in your example),that you were clueless about the pre installed screen protector/film or how much it costs.

Its also not Samsungs fault that you didnt get any extra warranty on a foldable device.

1year warranty is too low for these devices, especially with how costly everything they have is.
