We don't know 8 Gen 3 will be any good. Not every year are Qualcomm's flagship SoCs going to be great. We saw 888 and 8 Gen 1. Samsung can return to Exynos next year and mess up the S24/Fold 6/Flip 6 lines completely. The reason 888 and 8 Gen 1 were bad was because of Samsung. TSMC had to save the day the last two times.

Note7 owner, 14 Feb 2023Samsung might finally got it right this round. However I�... moreYou can peel it off. I went to Assurion and somebody peeled the film off for free on my Flip 3. By Gen 3 is when it's okay to peel it off. But yes, I was very annoyed by this. It's from that gutter crease. I was told from a different repair shop not to peel it off but Samsung customer service from the phone gave me the okay.

Samsung might finally got it right this round. However I'm never going to buy another Samsung product, the fold 3 has left a really bad taste. After 15 months of use my screen has some sort of a film that I never installed peeling off and I'm told not to remove it and since I'm out of warranty Samsung will charge me over a $100 to put a new one on. Wow after paying $1600 (after discounts) I'm left with a screen I don't want to look at right after warranty expires. Horrible product and support.

As many people say here,youtube,reddit etc, this is the best year to jump to Samsung,mostly for the Ultra.
Next years Ultra may suck big time, or we see the return of bad Exynos chips again, who knows.
But this is the one to get. It feels like Apples golden 13pro max, especially on the battery part.
