Weekly poll: Realme GT Neo 5 has super fast charging and killer pricing, do you want one?

19 February 2023
The phone's highlight feature is the 240W charge system, but the relatively low price of the 16GB/1TB model is not to be overlooked.

Global Pricing would be another thing so probably don't get too excited.

You know what, there should be an auto-stop charging feature interactable between the smartphone & the charger adapter to totally stop charging once the battery reaches 100%. I mean, i can't always install a full charged alarm third-party app on my phone, just to get a notification alert that my phone is already at 100% battery so that i will still need to manually unplug it from the electrical socket. Let alone the automatic need for the battery to rest & stop charging, once the battery reaches 100%.

I'm all for fastest charging. If you have a flagship phone & you have to wait for hours for it to charge 0-100% in 1-2 hours then that's a midranger 😀 Google, Samsung, Sony 🍏

I whish them all the luck in the World. If they get 'lower' as that the prices, that means that those are actually the Real prices ! Actually, you can have a full-blown flagship under 400$, everything upper than that is called academically Theft.

Consider that for these phones to exist, everybody in the supply chain must make a Profit ! Now, add the sum of all parts and see where the last buck goes and what it happens with it .

It's really a Game-Changer but I wish that someone should listen my feedback more carefully. I already forward something great to one of the biggest players(not US one, as idea).

I really want more best-for-the-buck flaghips that could actually fit a short(pool-pant). Far more private/non-evny-generator(which the world actually miss heavily!) + cheaper, I guess. 5 zoll should be the best size, aprox. 13 cm for a phone is already far enough.

If you want something bigger, just buy a short-distance-laser-projector + everything you want to do with it ... Same bucks as some flagships ... ! Thank you and Good Luck !

I've owned several flagships and currently have one. Have owned many phones for long enough to know that a lot of flagships aren't actually all that "high quality" rather it's just marketing and other stuff that they do to sell phones at higher and higher prices every year

The charging in under half an hour intrigues me but the cameras are so bad I can't buy it. All these chinese OEMs should stop putting 2MP meme cams on their phones and instead improve the other two. The same 8MP ultrawide is being used for at least 5 years now and it has been bad since day one.
                    2 good sensors > 3 or 4 mediocre sensors

That's the whole point. "Quality feeling" but not actual quality. If you look PBK's videos, you can see actually every or most S series phones have failed pathetically in drop tests, right on the first drop. Definitely very premium quality right there

Don't make me laugh please. There is simple economics in it. For 150 dollars you only get crappy experience on a phone and that's a fact. It will maximum last 1 or 2 before something will give up eventually. Premium phones does not have longevity problems you can use same phone for 5 years and expect it to work like it was the day you bought it. That's impossible to expect from 150 dollar phone. Please buy a premium phone have it for 4 years or so and when you talk to me again. I had only premium phones in last 12 years so I know what I am talking about :)

It's only relatively low price in China. Launch it for the Global market, and it's a completely different matter altogether.

As for the 240W charging system, it's useful for laptops and tablets, but an absolute overkill for smartphones. I already found 60W to 66W already more than enough.

Although i also think S23 Ultra is definitely not worth 1400€, it still has one of the best quality feelings i tested in recent time.

One of my cheaper phones ($150) still runs well to this day, after years. "Premium internal stuff" is a lie. Overall quality isn't substantially better.
