Since there's no Exynos counterpart you won't have to worry about getting one
On the other hand, if they decide to go with g1 then they'll also include models with Exynos 2200 and if that happens, people who want to buy it better hope their country got Snapdragon on the chipset roulette
The S21 fe came with Snapdragon in my country in Europe which was a surprise but a welcome one

SD8+ Gen 1 is more than enough and should result to lower price yet more than good performance.

Pricing is very crucial to success of FE series and should release early enough that S23 series doesnt have discounts or lot of 2nd hand lying around the selling sites

They should have learn the timing and pricing from flop S21FE by this time.

As long as Samsung doesn't repeat the same mistake as they did with the S21 FE by selling the Exynos version in certain regions, I'm more than okay with 8+ Gen 1. Also, Samsung should not price the FE close enough to the more premium models. S21 FE 128GB, when new, costs $699, which is only $100 less than the S22 128GB. If Samsung can be competitive by selling the S23 FE with 8GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage at $599, that would be one seriously tempting proposition.

Is there any room for downgrading s23?

S20 FE sold well because it contained Snapdragon Chipset and offered 5G at that time..
S21 FE offers Exynos that's why it's not selling well..

People want Snapdragon at that price, not Mediatek or Waste Exynos !!
August / September is too late.. Will go with Chinese flagship containing 8+ Gen 1 rather like Realme GT3 or OnePlus 11R rather instead..

If they're launching it later, by that time, the S23 prices in the market might have dropped enough to make the FE looks like bad deal.

Okay good. The price gap between the S23 and the A54 is huge. Glad that we will be seeing the FE staying in the lineup.

I was actually very close to buying the S21 FE, but I canceled at the end and decided to buy the S20 FE 5G 256GB 8GB RAM mainly for 2 reasons:
                                - SD card slot (the most important feature in a SMARTphone for me)
                                - SD865 (SD888 is an oven from what I've read)
I can't tell you how much I hate the fact that I don't have a 3.5mm jack! I have to wait for the phone to charge before using headphones. WTH??!
I did look for a splitter but guess what : There aren't any compatible with any kind of Samsung phone! Buuuu Samsung! Buuuuu!!!
If you do know a compatible splitter for charging and using the headphones at the same time, please let me know !
PS My old phone was S8+. I can definitely see the difference in display resolution. FHD SUX!
Samsung , please bring back the SD card slot, the 3.5mm jack and WQHD+ display and I'll switch to the S23 FE! I'll pre-order !

hopefully, it's priced competitively, especially since Zenfone 9 is still around and arguably the best compact flagship device ever.
