YUKI93, 16 Feb 2023As long as Samsung doesn't repeat the same mistake as ... moreBetween the S21 FE and the S22, it really is not worth the small price difference. However, the S22 is catered for people who want a compact smartphone. If you compare the S21 FE to the S22+, then you see a significant price difference as S22+ 128GB starts at $999. That is a $300 difference between the two, and the S21 FE is not any shorter than the S22+ as they only separated by 1.7 mm in height.

Using a S21 FE for past month and everything is good exceptthe battery lif it really sucks. Would gladley trade with S23 FE if it comes with snapdragon

Hemedans, 16 Feb 2023Both had Exynos and Snapdragon variantThe S20 FE only had Exynos for the 4G model before Samsung scrapped it and put Snapdragon, but it was a worldwide model where everyone get the same chipset. Can't say the same fot the S21 FE. My country got the Exynos version and it was terrible.

Gonna perform cuts to make it cheaper than s23 costs now, but then will be selling same s23 for similar price of initial price of 23 FE.

If it stays the same size as the S21FE I will seriously consider it. I'm currently choosing between Xiaomi 13 and S23+. This is cheaper and with not so much downgrades as the Redmi Note series, Xiaomi Lite series or the Galaxy 5x series.

There should be no M series. S and A series is enough, 3rd series being the foldables. Scrap half of the A series and make a regular, mini-ish phone (around 5.9-6.1 inches) and a plus size one (6.5" to 6.7").

Put bigger batteries on the A series, as big as you can. Remove any depth or macro cameras, instead use a single wide camera on the cheapest phones like the A14 because it's better than 3 or 4 mediocre cameras. Use a decent ultrawide for the A34 and add a 3rd (telephoto) from the A54 and up.

For A series use plastic cases, but make them all grippy and matte unibodies. Put at least slow 5W wireless charging on the highest end A series like the A54. Use glass and aluminium for any S series. Exynos should be there as a cost measure, it's best the 6 or 7 cheapest in the series, I'd rather see a flagship Exynos on the A54 than a mid-range Snapdragon. AMOLED and OIS should be there for every phone in the series, including the cheapest A14.

Prices and series should be something like this:

                                    S23U 256GB/12GB: 1200$
                                    S23+ 256GB/8GB: 1000$
                                    S23 256GB/8GB: 800$

                                    S23 FE 128GB/8GB: 600$

                                    A54+ 128GB/8GB: 400$
                                    A54 128GB/8GB: 350$

                                    A34+ 128GB/6GB: 300$
                                    A34 128GB/6GB: 250$

                                    A14+ 128GB/4GB: 150$
                                    A14 128GB/4GB: 100$

And that's it. 10 phones every year are more than enough and this should cover everybody's needs.

S21 FE user here - if it wasn't for the amount of bloatware present on the phone that you can't remove or disable, I would've said I'm super-happy with the phone. As it is present however, I'm simply "happy" with it, I didn't need the extra stuff of the base S22 so the $100 I saved on the price was great for me, hoping to keep it for 4 years before I need an upgrade.
