Because ... moreYeah sure, Apple may not make any money off of patents or whatever - but have you ever thought that Apple is actually only primarily selling computational devices currently, while Samsung sells not only phones and computers, but home appliances (that almost always had bad QA), yet far behind Apple in terms of company value?
Sales don't matter since it's not Samsung that's at the top but I bet you 2 cents that you'd be yelling about it over the rooftops that Apple is below them. You guys were even trashing on Apple before for making updates even for almost legacy phones, but are now celebrating that Samsung is now offering years of updates on their flagships when Apple has been doing it ever since the iPhone came about 😂

The USB-C port is about 8 years late. Better late than never, though.

I can't wait for the USB-C SPEEDS cripple and if true the authentication chip for there cable.

The renders make it look like it's an aluminum unibody. If only that were true, but alas it's probably just the same glass back but in 2.5D. I miss metal unibody phones.
