Spoiler alert: it broke.

All brands are talking about the using the newer glass generation, but what they dont want to tell is how they're using thinner and thinner glas.
I find that very dishonest.
Even corning made a statement just a small increase in the glass thickness can increase the durability significantly.

So much for 1000$ and victus 2

but but like people said, it's premium brand, premium material, premium build quality and it's $1000 flagship. How can it broke?

zaryan, 18 Feb 2023Glass on back is utter non sense use polycarbonate or metal... moreMetal no go, not on flagships at least as it disrupts wireless charge. (so its ok if the phone does not have that tought). But i totally agree, even if Glass definetly feels more premium in the hand, almost noone even use its phone caseless so you do not even touch it either way.

Gorilla glass generations are a total acam. What is the difference of this new fancy victus + bullshit with gorilla glass 3 from a decade ago?

Wth, my 7t pro got dropped from more than waist height multiple times. The metal body frame has few small dents but the glass on the display didn't crack at all, very far from getting shattered. Samsung has poor glass thickness, I think

The curvature of display hasn't much to do there. It's just that Samsung flagships are built like trash

Glass on back is utter non sense use polycarbonate or metal instead

The fingerprint sensor is ultrasonic. So a crack close to it will make the feature useless. You have to buy those boomer booklet-type cases for this phone.
