T-Mobile USA's 4G LTE network goes live ahead of schedule

The official launch will be at an event later today, but the LTE network is already live in Phoenix and San Jose.

              update, speed test at 22.06 Mbps Download and 3.12 Mbps upload in San Jose.

                The best result I'm getting in San Jose was 17.27 download and 2.37 upload.

                  Thanks for the news. I m a little sad that Denver wasn’t part of the launch. Phoenix has it, and I will be going there on a trip for my job at DISH; I will test out the new speeds with my Note II then. I really want to see how my DISH Anywhere app works with the higher data speeds. It streams live TV and DVR recordings to my phone over 3G, 4g, and WIFI, and the greater my data speeds, the higher the definition of my streams. It will be nice to watch the Rockies opening day in crystal clarity!

                    fgw, 26 Mar 2013England is a tiny country so it cost less to cover it.More densely populated so you require more masts and then you have competition level which doesn't exist in the USA which means even more costs.

                          I just noticed 4G LTE in my Galaxy Note II in Houston..the speeds are around 10Mbps though

                                        Hope T-Mobile also adds it's pre-paid version of their LTE.
