AnonD-123839, 26 Mar 2013TMobile talked so much trash about the iPhone smhif you cant beat them, join them. regarless of what they said in the past, the iphone has been an important factor in reducing churn. believe it or not, i have received numerous calls regarding tmobile having the iphone or not, and most of those calls end up in cancellations due to not having it. People love the iphone just for the hype and name of it. prefer paying more monthly for having an iphone instead of paying less for an equal/better android phone.

$110 a month! in the UK, for £36, you get truly unlimited data (which will be 4g on the three network when launched in september) which includes tethering too. that is one big price diference!!!

"T-Mobile USA today revealed that it will offer customers the Apple iPhone 5, 4S, and 4. Preorders for the iPhone 5 begin April 5, and the device will be in stores April 12.
According to T-Mobile, Apple customized the iPhone 5 for T-Mobile's network. It supports T-Mobile's LTE network, in addition to HSPA+ in the 1700 and 1900 MHz spectrum. T-Mobile's version of the iPhone 5 will also be the only variant to offer HD voice. The iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 will not be customized for T-Mobile's LTE network, but can access its HSPA+ service in the 1900MHz band.
Also, T-Mobile USA was the first U.S. carrier to say when the Galaxy S 4 will reach its network. It pegged May 1 as the date Samsung's flagship phone will be available for a downpayment of $99. "

Let's see how much they are selling the iphone, I hate the ugly brands and all bloatwares on the phone.

Legere(Tmo USA's CEO) noted that LTE is being tested in NYC, but the official NYC launch won't happen until about June.

Customers who want or need more data (with mobile hotspot) can purchase more data in 2GB increments. For example, $60 per month includes all the same benefits of the $50 plan, but offers 2GB of data in addition to the original 500MB (4GB costs $70, 6GB costs $80, etc., up to 12GB for $110 per month).
ALSO, customers can choose unlimited voice, unlimited messaging, and UNLIMITED data for just $70 per month, but this option only allows for 500MB of mobile hotspot.
So basically for $70 + taxes and installments of newly adquired phone (if you dont bring your own) you have everything unlimited.

You'd think that T-Mo would bolster their networking in New York. I'm in the Rockaway area and HAD to switch to AT&T JUST to get semi-decent coverage. Shame. T_Mo asked us if WE wanted to have a tower built to get coverage. Instead we signed up with Verizon ( home wifi Fios rocks) and I went with AT&T. Sandy ( the storm ) was for me the breaking point. I read with envy how AT&T went with prepring for the storm. Bringing portable towers into the area. And TECH support to back it all up. T-Mo ACTUALLY used AT&T towers during sandy. ALL of our phones during the storm switched over to AT&T as per an agreement T-Mo had with them. I said THATS proof enough. Now if AT&T could just pricing more competitive......

I noticed the lte speeds late night when youtube loaded in hd over the network. Average speeds in DC are around 20 mbps d/l and 18 mbps u/l

When the CEO was asked whether it was unlimited or not, he said "all you can eat", he dodged it. In the UK Three market their 'unlimited' plan as All You Can Eat, which means they can define in the T&C what it means, in Three's case this is 1000GB.
In T-Mobiles case it may well be 12.5GB judging by their other plans.

12.5 Gb is nothing, and 4G only makes it even faster to reach that limit! I have unlimited data at 6 Mb/s, more than enough for streaming 1080p movies, for less than 30 $ each month in Sweden!
