For some this phone has all they'll ever need, but what if someone wants more, like playing modern 3D games on a phone or shoot pictures and videos which doesn't suck. Maybe that's the bare minimum for them. For me personaly as I don't play any games on my phone, any low-end or mid-end chipset would do just fine, but on the other hand I really want the best possible camera set for the buck. So naturally these cheap phones aren't enough for me and I will gladly spend more to get what I personaly need from a phone as my priority.

I guess the margin is really slim in this price segment so Poco has to cut out Type C port to get the G85 and faux leather back. Still better specs than offerings from other brands though.

What's the lowest configuration possible to have playable game experience and fluid enough software experience
A question sadly the tech space doesn't care about.. tech space philosophy is ... wasteful abundance having power/features that isn't being used
Will there ever be a low end smartphone with a 4.7 star review rating?

The cost between microUSB and Type C is minimal, we are talking cents in production. It could still be 10W just USB C. It's easily the main turn off point on this phone. Everything else is forgivable since it's a cheap phone.

rizki1, 21 Feb 2023for me having microUSB is better than Helio G35.Better for sure, but you can get all around better, more powerful phones at this price that also have type-c. For example the Redmi 10, or the 10C if the regular 10 is more expensive for some reason, where you live. They are the same price where I live and obviusly the regular Redmi 10 is much better than this phone, or the Redmi 10C, but even the 10C is better than this. Redmi 10, 10C costs 166 eur in my country, Redmi 12C (Poco C55) isn't being sold yet, but knowing my country it will cost about the same as the above mentioned duo, while being much worse.

It's also not a leather back, just plastic made to look like leather, which is fine, but it's not expensive.
