        This means the days of 144p, 240p, 360p, and 480p are making a comeback to those who want HD... They are already making so much money from ads but they want to squeeze their user-base even more. This is gonna start people to want another alternative.

                Even history doesn't show what you watched on YouTube except for music content.

That means they get to experience full YouTube Premium features and even more by paying half as much on YouTube Music than with YouTube Premium itself.

                    Anonymous, 23 Feb 2023just get brave browser which block every youtube adThat's fine for desktop/laptop browsing and maybe smartphone (if that app is available, don't know it) but mainly I need it for my smart TV, where I consume most YouTube content. I also don't mind paying a few bucks a month, it's not the end of the world.
