The real Nokia also owns the Alcatel brand name it license too TCL too make Alcatel phones as well
So both hmd global & TCL are associated with the real Nokia in a way
Building there phones
it's interesting in a way as the Alcatel phones made by TCL main competitor too hmd global is the budget market alternative

I just hope it's made more clear the smartphones are hmd global Oem phones
Not the original Nokia brand as fake Nokia phones under licence in a way
But anyway am personally fine with generic phones
Or unbranded phones I am ok with that
I consider a phone from a brand like onn made by Walmart if they made one or TCL if they made a phone Modals I liked or whatever really if I know it was reliable durable & cheap I mostly buy it

Well
Hmd global licence of Nokia brand name
from Nokia ok fine but I won't mind if there was option for hmd global brand name phones as a opinion as well
I never brought or been a customer of the real Nokia phones
Windows mobile is isn't a opinion so this brand I avoided at the time for this reason
Wrong os choice runs on the real Nokia phones
I only buy hmd global phones and use android so HMD global the brand is that I guess has me
I have some standards phones have too live up too
So for me a budget customer
I like removable battery's
Stock android full versions
Bezels screen or pop up camera
Often prefer small phones
Affordable prices
Good Performance too price ratio
Os that runs smoothly on suitable hardware specs
Good hardware specs much prefer extra ram capacity
As long as I can get phone like this I always consider buying them
Plenty of phone modals too choices from with Nokia brand name phones made by hmd global
So I just buy phone Modals I like and want and buy them if the price is right

What is it with most tech brands, including media sites, that use this kind of "futuristic" fonts? It look terrible.

Anonymous, 27 Feb 2023I believe that a lot of Nokia sales are based on nostalgia ... morenot sure about that, they are the largest (if not among the largest) networking and 5g infrastructure provider worldwide, their licensing agreement to HMD probably represents a very small percentage of their revenues

Anonymous, 27 Feb 2023Nokia is doing a bad job in recent years. Get some education 🤡Why they do Bad job? and before continue this Discussion am talking about Nokia, this Thread is About Nokia, those guys who change Logo are Nokia not HMD like majority of People talk here.
Nokia was Always divided in 4 Division Network, Technology, Device and Map.
After Selling Device division 2013 to Microsoft then they wrnt to sell Map division to Car makers they remain with 2 division of network and technology (Patents, research etc).
These are Nokia Revenue From 2010 to 2022
(Millions of US $)
2022 $26,246
2021 $26,267
2020 $24,962
2019 $26,113
2018 $26,647
2017 $26,163
2016 $26,131
2015 $13,879
2014 $16,925
2013 $16,881
2012 $38,809
2011 $53,844
2010 $56,364
As you can see there from 2013 to 2015 Revenue was Really low they manage to Increase revenue a lot, Not as much as their Golden Era but now they are in Much better position than 2013-15.
The real star of the show is Net income, these are data from 2010 to 2022 again
2022 $4,478
2021 $1,920
2020 $-2,882
2019 $8
2018 $-402
2017 $-1,689
2016 $-848
2015 $2,738
2014 $4,602
2013 $-817
2012 $-4,873
2011 $-2,072
2010 $1,783
As you can See Nokia struggle to get profit in last Decade but 2022 they got over 4B, now they are more profitable than 2010 the last time they got over 4B was 2007.
So Nokia is Doing really good job right now.

Feels eerily like Blackberry's pivot into nothingness... they also tried to reinvent themselves a few times before their demise.

Funny to see how all comments about phones, while Nokia desperately try to rebrand so everyone will be aware that they have nothing to do with Phones anymore but with Network/Mobile infrastructure since 8 years now.
