That logo kinda looks like modern hieroglyphic letters but I like the older logo better than this one. They should do more than just changing the logo. Where's the nokia that we all know before? All gone.

Isn't that the article clearly quote that nokia is business technology? it's like 90% dont read that or ignorant? Like no one know that Nokia is one of the leader in telecommunication technology.

This change is for Nokia itself, maybe not including HMD that create phones nowadays and slap Nokia branding.
But I do hope Nokia itself stop HMD from creating phones and maybe look for better partner or even better do it themselves once again, as right now HMD is really tarnishing further its Nokia name.
Well there's innovation HMD doing for repairability but that's it, nothing more than expensive low end models and re-living the classic featured phones.
Good luck Nokia, I hope one day you can properly resurrect with all your glory and compete once more to Samsung & Apple.

Even though Nokia doesn't make phones anymore, their logo is still well known. And besides Nokia isn't dead as in the company, they do other businesses. What a shame they did the logo dirty.

Nokia is lucky in symbian series phone 2 decades ago because other brands aren't willing to export out their phone product..Now they lost once people realize other brand offer better value, features, etc..

GSMArena really should point that the Nokia talked in the article is Nokia telecommunications, not HMD Global Nokia.
When original Nokia got bought off by Microsoft, only its mobile division that got bought off, its telecommunication division still alive. After Microsoft killed the brand, it's HMD global can bring it back alive.

As most companies do... downgrading their logos.
GSMArena, keep your own logo as-is alright?

Nokia needs work on the smoothness of there phones how well they run
operating system
system interface user interface and browser and just basic mainstream apps
All just standard day too day usage tasks are slower on Nokia phones then on other phones
The main reason I say this is because Nokia phones are unique in one way
Only Nokia makes budget smartphones that get os support for the longest
The problem is the hardware is very old and dated but trying run the latest software that's not designed for such low end hardware
So it's a problem too overcome and find solutions too
Virtual ram one feature and I actually heard Nokia phones now using it now yay 😍 ..I hope this useful feature helps
.
Another needed feature is easy is rollback os updates
As good support on budget phones is great
but it can backfire as os growing bigger and heavilyer more resources hogging
Yeah people buy Nokia phone for updates and support but sometimes os updates just don't work out well and are the problem newer software isn't always better
Being stuck on the lasted os can actually be the problem as old hardware new software never actually work well together not designed for each other
Often just having a static os the phone comes with that's stable with good hardware paired with it never changes just works best

Koishi Komeiji, 27 Feb 2023Nokia is already dead. this is much way worse, thanks to Mi... moreTechnically, Nokia is not dead. They're in other industries and not just making phones. They're still part telecommunication in some way thanks to their inventions and patents. Nokia has been around since 1865. But as a phone maker, they've been dead since 2013 after Microsoft bought (or killed) them.
Speaking of cell phone pioneers, people need to check out the new concept for the Motorola RIZR. Looks cool. I like it one-handed friendly. Would be my next phone if it ever goes beyond being a concept. This rollable is like the next generation for sliders.
