      ooh I kinda like it.

also seeing the comments everytime Nokia is mentioned. I think people is underestimating Nokia. Just years ago Nokia's Revenue is down to just $13b to $27b today. it's still almost 50% down from their peak year, but I'm positive they'll be able to achieve it once again.

Koishi Komeiji, 27 Feb 2023Nokia is already dead. this is much way worse, thanks to Mi... moreagree, nokia phones ded because of them

Koishi Komeiji, 27 Feb 2023Nokia is already dead. this is much way worse, thanks to Mi... moreNokia ruined itself by their manufacturing policy around 2005-2010. Tens of different models with minimal changes, each missing something important. Bad hardware, bad software. Their phones were losing even against lowend androids in terms of usability. Nokia's death is just their own fault.

            well done aocia.

Nokia is ded though. Was sold to Microsoft over a decade ago and ever since then all we have is a company pretending to be Nokia (some dude renting the naming rights from Microsoft).

Every time Microsoft buys out a company, she ends up disemboweling them. That's, like, their MO. Hence why/how Nokia is ded. I call the new Nokia as Fokia, because they are fake Nokia, the original is disemboweled, renting naming rights doesn't make you the original, the original is deder than ded.

Nokia wants commercial companies to understand that there are differebt business lines and assosiate with defunct under micrisoft mobile division. Bcz it will create bad impression companies think about a failed mobile company comes to build 5g infra for them but reality is mobile division alone was sold to microsoft. Network infra business was & is still succesful.

And in consumer phones they will continue the old logo as people know and recognize that nokia more than new nokia logo.

                    L change.

I only hope the new rebranding comes with new phones that uses the mid tier 7 series and high tier 8 series chipset.

I'm still stuck with Nokia 8.1 with no new mid or high end phones insight.

Lastly Nokia, do please continue the Android One project with these new models. Thank you.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how you bungle a logo.

Just like the Nokia today, lack of good phones

                                trash logo

HMD already did the job, destroy the nokia brand

now they create an unrecognizable logo

swaraj, 27 Feb 2023Of course a lot of people hate it , people don't like... moreNot that people don't like change, but not in a way like this (just for the logo)

While for the true strategies, we'll have to wait and see

Well talk about ironic... Very representative of what their brand has become - a fading logo

Of course a lot of people hate it , people don't like change .. remember when microsoft launched tiled win8 or tile less windows 11?

The logo change is from hmd part and for telecom section . Nokiamob.net asked about it .. they said new phones will launch with same old classic logo .but that might change in future .

Besides i think it's because the confusion between real nokia technologies industry grade product and hmd's consumer product . Thats why the change to make it clear which is which ..

Nokia has been going through this for a while now . You'll see some phones have nokia logo on front chin and some don't . I think the ones that have logo are tested and approved by real nokia technologies and the ones don't have logo are hmd creation with no regard to real nokia standard
