Worthy??? This is actualy a lot better.
Samsung hinge is 96 components.
Honor Vs hinge is made only with 4 components with much greater durability and stability and is likely less breakable than fold.
Proven by Jerryrigeverything its a lot better. Also a lot cheaper compared to Scamsung.

Obviously I didn't expect it to be exactly the same but was hoping it'd still be around the 1000 mark, which I think is reasonable.

Honor now seems to be targeting Huawei high-rollers that wants GMS on their smartphone. This is no longer the Honor that used to offers affordable flagships like the View series

This is so sad. This phone costs the exact same (Possibly less?) as a 512GB Samsung S22 Ultra/iPhone 14 Pro Max, and packs worse cameras for a folding screen that's much larger.
The price is ridiculous, but so are normal flagships. Huawei's drank too much alcohol by charging 2500 euros for their foldables, but this is rather reasonable for a phone that promises a premium experience. Maybe not for me, because I value cameras, but for someone who wants a special phone.

Price is too high. Should about €1200 max. Might as well get the fold 4. Shame, could of been good competition for samsung

That price is a killer. Was happy to pay below 1000 for 256GB version but can't see that happening. Sticking with my Fold2 for now.
