Honor Magic Vs gets a global release for €1,599
Honor launched today the Magic5 flagship series globally, and another phone was also introduced to the international audience - the Magic Vs.
The smartphone, initially introduced in China three months ago, is the first horizontally foldable smartphone with an inward vertical hinge on the global scene that is not a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold, marking a new beginning for smartphone wars on the market.
Honor kept its promise to bring the new Magic Vs outside of China, and now everyone will be able to enjoy the four-component hinge design, the bright display and the impressively light body that is 10% lighter than the predecessor.
When we handled a pre-production unit, we were left with a lot of hope, brought by the promising set of specs and features.
Speaking of specifications, the Honor Magic Vs runs on Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, the same as its Samsung competitor. The global audience is getting a Magic UI 7.1 on top of Android 13, which is an improvement over the A12 software of the Chinese version.
The main and telephoto cameras on the back are improved, compared with the first Magic V, and the battery is now 5,000 mAh with 66W fast charging.
Honor is launching the phone in two colors - Cyan and Black. The price for 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage is €1,599.

Worthy??? This is actualy a lot better. Samsung hinge is 96 components. Honor Vs hinge is made only with 4 components with much greater durability and stability and is likely less breakable than fold. Proven by Jerryrigeverything its a lot b...

My expectation were based on the prices they are currently charging in China, which is the equivalent of less than €800. Obviously I didn't expect it to be exactly the same but was hoping it'd still be around the 1000 mark, which I thin...
