I heard Verizon is raising prices and TMo is doing something shady with pricing. We pay the Insurance companies, banks, and Wireless carriers wayyy to much money in America.

With 3G network has been phased out, I'm mostly on 2G all the time. The irony is that my country's government keeps on banging about 5G network for the masses. I rather see a full 100.00% adoption of 4G LTE before seamlessly moving on to 5G.

Why are they doing this? It's completely unnecessary and doesn't really benefit anyone at all. If it's not broke, don't fix it. This causes problems really. I swap my sim and number quite regularly into multiple different phones. This makes it far more difficult.

iSim is amazing technology, every phone will use it in the future

blue, 01 Mar 2023Don't cry for the past, baby.Cloud storage is still not the future, especially when there are still lots of places with little to no internet coverage in the first place. Learn to cope with that.

Anonymous, 28 Feb 2023Highly unlikely. Move on and use tws earbuds. Not a wise idea, especially in e-waste term. I can also talk about wired audio still giving way better audio quality than wireless audio, but that's another story for another day.

Anonymous, 01 Mar 2023Dont worry, xiaomi will not be doing unless apple does. Not only that. Policies of countries and service provisions of carriers also count, if they're not willing to move towards iSIM or even eSIM, there's nothing Xiaomi (and others) can do (beside installing the chip, but may still be abandoned to activate it in different markets or choose not to activate in markets with no eSIMs).

If you want to turn off the signal you can simply take out the SIM. How will that work with iSIM? Only Airplane mode isn't enough for some.
And how much space are they saving? Nano SIMs aren't very big.
