Every other full size foldable is more expensive and/or not available outside china. And we all know how bad China-specific os are. Also, while it's not as good as the 8gen2 or even the 8gen+1, it's still a flagship chipset. And in India where it's launching first, it cost exactly half of an galaxy fold 4.

There we can see that it uses an outdated SoC that's about two thirds the performance of the current flagship SoCs in benchmarks.

"I doubt you will ever get one." Wow, excellent observation skills, Sherlock. How'd ya find that out? 🤦‍♂️

Of course it's way worse than the 888, but it's perfectly fine for everything, but hardcore gaming.

Of course it is underwhelming. 778G is only not underwhelming to those who never used flagship devices before. A person who only slept on stone floors all his life will never understand why someone would need a soft pillow or find the floor hard.

This should've started at less than a grand for it to have any sort of appeal whatsoever. Dumping $1200 into the very first foldable from a relatively new company without a serious market share, without any guarantees of software quality and support nor any guarantees of proper warranties and after sale services sounds like an awful way to use of money.

It only makes sense if you have way too much disposable income and you're fine paying big bucks to be a beta tester of this thing. Especially that far better products from proven brands exist for essentially the same price.

Foldables shouldn't have holes in screens. They should be able to use main shooter as the best option for selfie camera, and save money on useless holes and bad sensors.

When it comes to foldables, the most important aspect is the software. All offerings could have the same specs and build but the one with the best software stands out. So far that's the Z Fold4 of Samsung.
