Neither are my choice. I'm still happy with my Sony Xperia 1 iv that I got after I sold my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. I cannot wait to see this year's 1 vwith Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

I mean there is still a strong android fanbase, but it’s nothing but Samsung, Pixel and lower end Motorolas. That’s it. And OnePlus Nord.
It’s still somewhat relevant, but if Apple somehow gets exposed or something then the iPhone’s growth is only going to keep going here. Even if Chinese phones don’t do well with software like I hear Europeans complaining about, at least you guys have more competition.
Basically the whole “not get a job” part was exaggerated 🙃

I understand the social pressure. Just like everyone uses Viber where I live instead of better apps like Signal or Discord, so it's a must have app for me.
MrWhosetheboss did a video on why everyone is buying iPhones now. The video is alarming and frightening, just like the comments with various anecdotes, just like your comment is.
Then again, I'm nor surprised. It's been well documented that the average IQ in the US (and subsequently the world, I'm sure) has been on the decline since 2007, aka when the first iPhone came out.

I’m American and I’m not exaggerating when I say that iPhones are so dominant here that I won’t be surprised if you can’t get a job here within a decade from now if you don’t have an iPhone in the US. Everyone uses FaceTime and iMessage like crazy besides group chat apps like WhatsApp. Like, society here will make it virtually impossible to own an Android in the US in the future lol.
But I can’t move out so I’ll have to deal with a monopolistic market, or just get an Xperia when they come out with a newer TSMC fab chip.

Yeah, phones nowadays charge fully in about 30 mins at this price, but full charge in 1 hr is not too bad (iPhone should step up though). Also, those who buy these phones are buying for their quality, durability and reliability. iPhone users buy it so they can use it care-free and some people buy Samsungs, because they like to have full control on the device.

Only pure andro... moreNo they shouldn't all come as pure android. Pure android is like a Samsung flagship after it's been run over by a truck. I'm not paying money for a flagship with barely any features which I then have to replace by installing buggy 3rd party apps by shady devs.
If I wanted a dumb experience like that I'd go with iPhone.

I Love the 14 Pro Max... and I'm not hating the Galaxy Ultra... I just prefer iOS in many ways.. Kudos to both Flagships!
