                Like the fake moon zoom on ultra Samsung model 🌕

                Get this (from ibreakphotos reddit on r/Android top comment) : " Samsung is using Al/ML to slap on a texture of the moon on your moon pictures, and while some think that's your camera's capability, it's actually not. And it's not sharpening, it's not adding detail from multiple frames because in this experiment, all the frames contain the same amount of detail. None of the frames have the craters etc. because they're intentionally blurred, yet the camera somehow miraculously knows that they are there. And don't even get me started on the motion interpolation on their "super slow-mo', maybe that's another post in the future.."

                    Oh and btw, a phone with IP rating can still break if submurged in water and it's not covered under warranty. So if you break your phone with an IP rating, you have to buy a new one.

                    There was actually a certain company that got sued and had to pay a pretty penny because of their misleading water resistance ads. What was it.. oh yeah I know, it was Samsung.

                      If money was the main reason why random brands dont certify its IP rating, then it would be also similar reason NOT to create phones with water resistant, because creating the seal for IP 67/8 is far more expensive than the certification itself.

                      Imagine how many random phone user let its phone broken after being submerged in water just because some random person made false statement.

                      You want to make people move to Samsung? Because thats how make other people move to samsung.

It's a much lower percentage than the likes of Xiaomi though who are probably 70-80% ODM (basically all Redmi phones). I think probably nearly all budget models from all brands are most likely ODM though. Apple might be the only brand that have no ODM but then they don't have any budget phones so that's not surprising!

Making a phone water resistant costs next to nothing and almost every phone is sealed and has the rubber gaskets to keep water out, testing it for an IP rating is however very expensive.

                                      Oppo Find X5, iQOO 5 Pro, Infinix Zero Ultra.. they are all water resistant with no IP rating.
