At this point an FE version is not needed, because Samsung's current line-up covers all prices. They increase price for A54, also you have last year S22 models with decreased prices (since their launch).
An FE model will just make things more complicated. At least, I think this is the reason.

This year, samsung's signature for all series is two or three vertical camera bump. So if you can't afford buy flagship, go for A series. No more FE. Very smart trick.

I remember early last year when the 21 FE was released, there were a lot of comments ripping on it for being late, insanely priced etc but the A series from last year and the upcoming ones this year make the 21 FE look like the best deal now lol (at least among Samsung phones in this segment).
If there won't be a successor to the FE, it would be nice if there would be an A54S with the upcoming 7 gen 2/1+ later this year.
