The only disappointment is that there doesn't appear to be a 256GB version. Perhaps that will be an option?

Finally, a prime candidate to replace my Mi A3. Was actually planning to get the 6a but having only 6GB RAM and 60Hz display is a big disappointment for me.

This is nice design, except the top and bottom of the camera protrusion should be inverse curve, that way it will not pick up dust.
iPhone design is great except the camera bump and also it wobbles when put on flat surfaces.
They should hire designers from old Nokia/HTC.
HTC One M8 was very nice with cnc milled chassis.
Nokia N8 and N9 were also very nice in design, just imagine them in modern avatar with thin profile and tiny bezel display.

5W wireless charge. Honestly, who would use that in a realistic and practical scenario in 2023 and beyond?
Aside from the Pixel 5a, no other Pixel had a better battery life. Let's see if the 7a has a better battery and a significant image quality improvement over the 6a which I guess doesn't. You really need to pay for the higher tier models to get telephoto and useful wireless charging.

The fact that this has the actual Google logo instead of some weird variation means this is likely the final hardware. And with 8gb of RAM on a midrange phone for the first time this will be a great value of Google keeps the price at $449, more so if it goes on permanent or like the 6a. Hopefully we'll see this at Google I/O instead of waiting until August.

I wouldn't be surprised if the visible pattern on the back is a prototype thing. Google has done some things to separate prototypes from the final phones e.g. changing the logo, not having a logo at all, or having a different back than final. This seems to be the latter.
Unless it's a wireless charging thing.
