Good move. it's good. lot of pre-install apps are so irritating. few apps automatically updating in background. so this is the good decision

Having googgle chrome and samsung brownser or MI brownser at same time is pure garbage. Same goes for many else apps which naturaly comes with android and every single UI like Alarm clocks, calendar and many else.

If I don't use it when why should it be on my phone occupying space. Maybe I use OneDrive or Dropbox, or anything else, it should be my choice what to use and what not. If you really need that app you can always install it from the store.

Simple. Essential apps can't be uninstalled, and the rest can be. Even some Google apps and Samsung apps. 🫶

I have zero use for Drive as I make local backups using laptop and HDDs.
I leave it to your judgement whether this text is typed by a read person or sone AI bot :)
Again, these apps should remain on the Play Store, so that those who need them can install them instantly.

Installing apps afterwards, apps must be fully tested to see, what date is taken, and where does it go!

taolao, 15 Mar 2023There is not such thing as installing app in background. Pr... moreThere is not such thing as installing app in background? Obviously you never noticed them because you don't know what background is! You're the one sings praise of apple and google and let them openly invade your phone!
If you had any knowledge of this app/process called "Android setup" then you wouldn't be talking like this. Once this is disabled then certain pre-installed google bloatware such as photos, duo, drive, home, TV etc etc can be prevented from being re-installed once uninstalled.
But why does a user have to find this workaround in such trial and error way and waste time? Why should these google bloatware be forced on user? Once the user has uninstalled them, he has made clear that he doesn't want them, when why are these apps being force again and again? Not everyone is technically illiterate like you who has no concern for privacy.

If this applies to Google as well, it will be very good.
If it only applies to Chinese apps, it will only strengthen Google and Apple.
