I remember the MX4 and the 3. If I'm not wrong, one of these had a 16:10 screen in stead of the 16:9 almost all the others used. I liked it.

I remember Meizu just with warm feelings. Tried and can't forget MX4, budget M2 Note. Almost haven't bought Pro 7 Plus and many years later 18s Pro, but both ways stopped because of lack of B20 band :(

9 years later and I'm still a huge fan of the MX4. It was the first Meizu phone that I learned of.
The design looked so nice in a modern way, it was unlike any other phone at the time. I loved the super thin side bezels, the round corners, the chamfered aluminum edges, the backlit circle button. Literally everything about it.
During 2015 I was debating on whether to get the Meizu M2 Note or the Lenovo K3 Note as my first phone. I would've went with M2 Note purely for its design, but got the K3 Note instead as it had better specs for the price (and honestly I don't regret that choice either).

I think you have skipped the Meizu MX4 Ubuntu Edition which runs on Ubuntu Touch. It is a previous phablet model of the MX series, representing an alternative edition of the MX4

android oems like to follow suit because of apple's footsteps.

I have owned two Meizu's that I ordered online in China with mixed feelings and experiences. One was absolutely fabulous while the other one was the complete opposite while both were exactly the same phones (same model). I don't remember by hart which one it was but is was an "M" model for sure. At the time I suspected that the good one was a genuine one and the other maybe a knock-off. The good one was a pleasure to use and I was very pleased with their UI although it was not perfect (but which one is) and there was also a substantial load of Chinese stuff installed on it but luckily most of it could be undone. One thing that never worked well was stetting up the Meizu account which was kind of necessary for some functionalities. In terms of designs I preferred the Meizu ones by far compared to the early Xiaomi phones and even the Huawei phones of that time. Agreed, they were heavily "inspired" by Apple designs but I was not against their designs at the time so no issue for me. The early Xiaomi ones where also heavily inspired by the Cupertino stuff (was that not a rule for all Chinese devices back then and still today?).

Unfortunately they do not implemented this anymore because everyone is crazy about crappy TWS these days because you know why.

I had the Meizu 16th (Indian version of Meizu 16) and was bloody impressed.
The design and build quality was in a league of it's own at that time.
Also, there was a very stable GCam port that had the camera experience jump a few notches up from so-so for stock camera to outstanding.
The speakers were a treat, too.

Still rocking the Meizu Pro 7 high edition with Helio X30 and Meizu M6 Note One Piece ed. I also had the Meizu MX5e. Overall I had a total of 4 Meizu phones, but the one I missed the most is my very first smartphone - my Meizu MX 4-core with the Wolfson DAC. Such a small phone with 4 inch display but my friends at that time who had the Iphone 4 and 4s said that my Meizu phone looks eye catching and had a really unique Flyme OS

I really aimed the Meizu 7! The dual camera in the back accompanied by the screen is just so unique and eye-candy (it was 2018). It retailed for like $100 then, and I just bought a Zenfone Live L1 and kinda thought I should've waited longer.
Right now, M6t's are being sold at a cheap price of $40-60 here. But I cannot really see the extra value proposition of those. I liked the 7 series and the uniqueness of its design.

I've had Meizu in the past and found them to be nice reliable phones with a great operating system in Flyme, but the new design I don't like for me Meizu has lost all it's originality and creativeness with that one and that is what Meizu was known for.
