The UK bans TikTok on government phones

It looks like the UK government is reviewing other apps to ban as well.

Man you cant expect that from dumb politician.
Politicians are nothing just people who talks a lot but apart from that they arent any tech geeks.
But a good try anyway.

      We can force ban and delete or restric fron install facebooka s well not only TikTok there are plenty of other apps which should be restrained too, just like badoo, sugar date and tons of others.
      Also if i were in charge i would prohibit advertising as well like we had no advertising at all in old days before google forced us to live with tons of bloatware everywhere and litterary unable to use brownser without adblockers.

            Government phones, ie work phones shouldn't have any recreational apps on there. You have a personal phone for that. You're being paid to work, not screw around

                  Lmao. If TikTok doesn't collect any outside data, can you explain to me why it needed to use 500MB of data in the background when the app hadn't even been opened that day? It's hilarious that they're trying to act like this is politics, and NOT their app literally being spyware. (I had TikTok installed on my phone for a brief period of time - rest assured I haven't used it in over a year.)
