Ice Universe: the iPhone 15 Pro Max will set a new benchmark for thin bezels

17 March 2023
As we've seen from CAD renders and pre-production glass panels, the Pro pair will have slimmer bezels, the Max will have the slimmest of them all.

Anonymous, 18 Mar 2023Is this a troll article? Thin bezels but gigantic hole up top.Remove the bezels, damage the screen.

Or put sensors, that used to be on the bezels, under the screen. Then pay the added cost.

I don't need iPhone Pro since it doesn't have anything new to offer to me besides non Pro iPhones, i don't care about cameras on any phone anyways. That's why i was hoping the non Pro would get at least 90hz so i could consider it as my next purchase.

is that the writer excluding Nubia Z50 Ultra that only 1.48mm on the sides??? so 1.55mm less than 1.48mm?? its seems math has left the room...

UltraHD, 17 Mar 2023Once i experienced 120hz, i couldn't go back to 60hz. ... moreI hear you. Many people feel the same as you, but I'm not challenging how you feel about it. My point is most iphone people don't prioritize refresh rates like you do. The best selling phone of 2022 was the iphone 13. The 60 hz you could never go back to isn't hindering their experience.

I know people that are still uncomfortable paying 1k for a phone. They would rather get a iphone 12 or 11 vs. a new model. They don't think twice about refresh rates. Many people don't even know what that is.

Thin bezels are complete nonsense when there is that big ugly island

Anonymous, 17 Mar 2023Absolutely agree. Thin bezels are overratedThick bezels are only nice if they are the top and bottom bezels, like the old Galaxy S8/S9, however it's a shame that those designs are extinct now. (Edit: Never mind I forgot about the Xperia phones lol)

But for these modern "bezel-less" designs I can't stand thick bezels, they just look graceless, but that is only due to this form factor.

Wow, that's interesting news coming from apple.
