My wife iPhone 14 pro - less than a year

I enjoying my 1/1.28" main sensor size many years ago already. Even today, P40 output image quality when compared to my wife's iPhone, still the better one, main sensor & front camera, at least when in Auto mode.

      Photo 12. Look at the tree beside the wall. This photo is as nasty as Xiaomi's Leica Vibrant mode. Same issues are seen here as well.

      Photo 19 also has strong flare on the edges. Look at how mountains have weird white tint on upper right portion.

      Photo 48. Trees behind temple has white contour around them, also too much sharpening.

I assumed by your original post that you didn't know what you were talking about so I replied at that level. My point was that the only examples in the sample shots were when the camera was pointing at the sun. The other shots more than made up for the odd bit of lens flare. Don't forget this is a mobile phone we're talking about. If you want it to behave like a high end compact or a DSLR then you're in the wrong place.

                    I have never seen that amount of lens flare. Even worse than iphone 13 pro, something that is near impossible.

                    Another type 1.0 wasted by plastic lens elements that cannot match simple rx100 despite bit larger 4:3 sensor.

                          What the hell is wrong with high end Chinese smartphones? It's 2023 already and great majority of them still record only 1080p video from a front camera, some say it's not a big deal but when you compare them with iPhone or Galaxy S the difference in quality is big. Flagships must have 4k video recording with a front camera, period.

                              The YouTuber clearly says the S23 Ultra has better stabilisation, he prefers daylight photos and video quality from the S23 Ultra, But he did prefer night photos from the Oppo... But here you are saying the Oppo wins in all categories including Oppos Shakey stabilisation.

                              If you're gonna lie about owning an S23 Ultra, don't make it too obvious your just making the Oppo company and Oppo fans look bad.

                                All this to have what should be provided by these brands as default and without external help. These modes are better than ones " phone makers own style".

                                Just proves cameras makers have ppl more competent than phone makers .

                                  no 3.5mm jack, no card slot, average front facing camara, bulky, another typical fake "Hasselblad" colaboration phone...pure garbage!!!!!

                                    Even CEOs of chinese OEMs have been caught using iphones over the years instead of own phones. Fun part is some CEOs are owners of these brands. 🤣
