While calling screen stays turned on frequently even though i am holding it next to my ear... For a phone with soo many cool features like A54 having this basic one not work properly really ruins the experience. Like give me a proximity sensor instead of useless macro camera which only serves estetic purposes

Why does the phone model 8gb ram 256gb storage only shows 4gb of ram? And for me to use the whole 8gb ram, I need to use ram plus which will use storage as ram.
So this phone is only 4gb ram technically?

My experience with Xiaomi has been much better than any Samsung phone I've own. I had the S7, S9 and S20 and they get lags, stutters, motherboard failure, display greeen line of death after 1 1/2 of use.

As for the ram management, color os is very strict and always trying to minimize the ram usage, even when there is sufficient space in your ram. One UI in the contrary is utilizing ram not as strict as the Color OS, but it is better for multitasking purposes, because you dont have to necessarily reload all task you've done every switching from one to another task.

zy, 23 Mar 2023found an oppo r7s in the trash and i would say that colour ... moreI just got the One UI 5.1 two days ago on my Samsung Galaxy A71, it has 6G of RAM and works great. I like the Samsung One UI a lot, and Android 13 with One UI 5.1 makes it cooler.

Yes, it is usable but the experience is horrible. No matter how good their specs are, I will not buy any Xiaomi devices for my family again since I'm more of a risk-averse person than a risk-taker.

Expected: Androi... moreThat's the advantage of Samsung phones and iPhones. They give minimum 4 years of software support. No other company does that, not even Google with its Pixel line-up.
Also, the software updates arrive on time. There is even a page where you can see the Samsung phones eligible for certain updates. Chinese phones doesn't have anything similar.
I will choose good and timely software updates over nice specs on paper.
