Can't wait for the old Nokia to make phones again... Can you imagine an N8 with android these days?

This is why I always replace the launcher and theme as soon as I power up a new phone.

Yet no pure phones, only generics craps lol 😂

Looks cool but can it match with others? Highly unlikely.

HMD is being rebellious by moving away from Nokia core phone design philosophies.

                  1. Unnecessarily heavy phones with inferior material and plasticky builds.
                  2. Designs that are nowhere close to the erstwhile "Nokia" phone design standards.
                  3. Ditching Snapdragon Chipsets for inferior chipsets.
                  4. Sticking to old RAM and internal storage tech like DDR3 and eMMC, instead of DDR4/5 and UFS2.2/3.1/4.0/NvME
                  5. Sub-standard display quality, cheap LCDs.
                  6. Last but never the least>> Constantly degrading focus on customer centricity and customer voice/needs, arrogance on hawkingpushing junk in the market, especially in Asian market.
                  7. Everything trash of an experience for extraordinarily high European Euro pricing in Asia.

Lumia 925/930 was the last battle Nokia put forth bravely, new Sirocco was a dying roar.
Can HMD salvage the pride or they just want to die wuick, alone and humiliated by their own doing?

To regain its lost position in the market, Nokia must first determine who its real target is. Does Nokia not see the most expensive mobile phones of Samsung and iPhone?
The focus on the market is not to make mid-range or light phones, but to crown the already existing ones in the field and launch their introductory mobiles for competitors by saying that Nokia is alive Nokia is still alive. This is the glory of Nokia.

Dogspurt, 29 Mar 2023Horrible and confusing, especially for those of us who are ... moreDont worry.. There will be a high contrast mode for the visually impaired..

Pabli, 29 Mar 2023Guys, this UI is for apps from Nokia and maybe some devices... moreSad how you are downvoted like this while you speak truth, this is Real Nokia not HMD, they anounce new Ui for their Apps, Smartwatch and other products. They even change logo to differentiate their products with HMD and others but still people are dumb to differentiate them.

                            Who cares???

More reasons to stay away from this soon to be dead brand.

Is not future-proof at all... UI designs are now gradients on buttons and slight shadows. Super flat designs got stuck on 2012-2019.

If they want this design to be even better, they should consider making it material you compatible, because right now, it looks like the UI of a TV advertisement for a wellbeing device/medication, or just the UI out of a device from a videogame. its one of those things that looks nice, but doesn't feel nice once your get your hands on it

also knowing nokia, this updates gonna come to maybe 3 devices that have already been released, and the updates will come between 3 and 8 months after its made known that the update is coming.

In Nokia corpo... moreAndroid OS updates aren't the end all be all of software support. Google, OEMs, and app developers update all phone drivers, play services, Mobile services, apps, etc. through the Play store that goes beyond 6+ years. Now tell me, how much time do you spend on your phone outside of an application? As long as apps are updates, the phone stays secure and feature rich. Nobody just sits there and swipes around on the home screen for hours on end, unless you're an OS update addict or refresh rate junky.
