Considering HMD just uses Nokia's name to sell phones, I'm actually surprised they put in effort. It even shows - I am absolutely digging the minimalist style!
If they can make the animations smooth and spend the time optimising the device for all their products (which need the optimisation considering the low end hardware Nokia usually puts in their devices), I can see this being a real win.
Now they just need to stop overpricing their products. The Nokia X30 was overpriced by 30k INR when it launched.

So hmd is trying to go Microsoft? Not alone did hmd k1ll the performance of Nokia, but now they are trying the same with the os.
Good luck hmd. You are forgotten in 2025, just like htc.

Nokia is over. The kind of overpriced low spec phones they are releasing... Stock Android was the only positive they had.

Disgustingly boring and uninspired corporate design that lacks identity. Just like so many things these days.
Bring back frutiger aero :D
Not that I would touch HMD phones with a long stick before they stumble out of that low-end pit

Sometimes (even most of the time), whenever I read Nokia, I get confused as to which company--the OG Nokia or the HMD Nokia?
In any case, if this happens to be on phones, this is a good start, but definitely has a long way to go. Starting off with spec improvements and builds which is already saturated by the competitors. But I am rooting for more competition.

Guys, this UI is for apps from Nokia and maybe some devices, it's not necessarily coming to phones (HMD)

Problem with Nokia for me was that i got my Xiaomi for 170 euro 5 years ago for same hardware also Nokia had as SD636 while that phone cost 330 euro at the time so for just stock android to pay that much more.
Now with Pure UI they have something there own as phones with stock android were expensive and budget level hardware. As they also want to start to manufacture products in Europe then what will be there hardware to run this Pure UI ?
If there would come something on the level of sd778 out of HMD/Nokia that be surprise on it's own

For me the main reason for buying a Nokia phone was clean unadulterated android. Good bye, Nokia, go bust soon.

Well that's a start. But they still got a long way to go to compete with the biggest competitors out there...
