Samsung Galaxy S23 FE's specs and launch timeline revealed

A54 raised by 100 if this will be 100 more expensive is even more worth to buy regular S23 or S22 plus or S21 - S22 Ultra for that price.

    A rebranded s22 plus with a plastic back and even worse exynos chip….hell nah

      The S20FE is significantly better than the a54, don't be foolish.

        Welcome the "MINI BOMB", they never learn unless they reforming the exynos 2200 or ask their new engineer which was from tsmc to recreating the chipset. Maybe they make it like sd 8+ gen 1, but i guess thats just another "Far Beyond The Galaxy", i guess i'll keep my s21 fe until i can buy the s23 ultra, or maybe oneplus 11 if they really make it official in my country.

          It will be yet another overpriced downgrade from Samsung. The days of good deals from Samsung are over, now you pay the premium price for worse phone

            There's a HUGE GAP between the a54 and s23. It would be a mistake and revenue lost if Samsung did not have an entry in that category/price range. With no a74 it only makes sense for an s23 fe. I almost bought an s21 fe or an s22. I guess ill have to wait to see if this rumor pans out.

                        I'm not a fan of Exynos chipset, but I'd be happy if Samsung put the Exynos 2200 SoC. That is the only time people outside EU can experience AMD's Xclipse GPU. Also, 6/128 should not exist anymore. For smartphones without microSD card slot, 256GB internal storage should be the norm.

                          Hot take, but as the A73 has no successor, this S23 FE could be a replacement. Exynos 2200 consumes 12 Watts at its peak, but peak power could be cut to 8 Watts and it makes like 10% difference, and still be an upgrade over the 778G, in the same way its GPU is 65% faster at stock than 778G and could but downclocked to half its power and lose only roughly 18% performance. (source: Geekerwan and Nano-review) and a camera upgrade as well. It would sell fine if Samsung priced at $399 (which probably ain't gonna happen). Exynos 2200 should just be downclocked to a TDP it is most efficient with OK performance for $399. It comes down to pricing, Samsung should stop trying to act that their OLD Exynos makes sense above $399.

                            The FE sells quite well here so maybe Samsung took the right decision to continue with it. The pricing is important tho. It may not sell well at anything above $700

Just ny perosnal experience. But I like that my S23 has Snapdragon finally. But I am just saying that Snapdragon isn't always the answer.

                                    So glad I went for the A52s over the newer A53/4 and now this. Still a great buybif you can find one for right price in your region. Got mine for £270 in UK bout 3 months ago and feel like I got a real bargain

                                      Definitely an April fool's job this one, and a good one at that!

                                        I'm gonna pretend this does not exists and replace my s20 fe 4g (snapdragon) with the a54 5g beacause i think that phone is better than my current phone bc the exynos 1380 is surprisingly really great
